Hi!

I am currently using a Ceton InfiniTV 4 in a WHS 2011 box. Via the network it pushes FIOS to two Win 8.1 Pro+MC machines. Works perfectly.

I am in the process of moving from WHS 2011 to 2012SER2. The Ceton installs perfectly and diagnostics produce green check marks all around. The clients find the tuners and setup correctly. However, when I tune a channel, I get a message along the lines of “service unavailable”. I have not yet have the time to tinker around with it (the wife _needed_ her TV, so I plugged the WHS back in :)) – I may be missing a reboot or firewall tuning.

Has anyone managed to get Ceton+2012 running?

I am not familiar with 2012, yet. Am I missing something obvious?

Any leads appreciated.

I have not been able to get it to run. I restored my WHS 2011 and it works fine again. Then I tried trying to host the network tuners from 8.1, and again all sets up well, but then no picture. Back to WHS = no prob.

I have anecdotal evidence out there that it works on WS2012. I'll keep trying.

I got it to work. :banana:

I was missing one little setting. After bridging the tuner and the NIC, go into the properties of the tuner and change "allow bridging" from 'no' to 'yes'.
