Hi, I'm currently trying out WSE 2012R2. I created a Storage Pool, added some Physical Disks, and created a Virtual Disk. It was working until I started to change drive letter. Since then, I have reinstalled WSE 2012R2. Now I'm seeing a Storage Pool that was previously created, but with a red circle and an X inside saying "Unhealthy: Unknown". The same for Virtual Disk with the red circle and X saying "Unhealthy: Detached". When attempting to delete the virtual disk, I'm getting "Error deleting virtual disk: The storage pool could not complete the operation because its configuration is read-only."

Not sure what to try next to delete this virtual disk, and eventually the storage pool. I still have one physical disk that is within this storage pool that I cannot get to. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks.

I guess what I was calling a Storage Pool in my previous post is actually called a Storage Space. Finally, I was able to delete the Storage Space and the associated Virtual Disk and got control of my Physical Disk.

This was done in Control Panel\System and Security\Manage Storage Spaces. What was weird was that when trying to delete my Storage Space, I got an error (The system cannot find the file specified (0x00000002)). But the Storage Space was removed and freed up my Physical Disk that was stuck within that Storage Space. What a relief....
