What are some good add-ins for WS2012E?

I will be installing:

Lights Out - Great app on my WHSv1

Dbone

Have you installed Plex on your WS2012E install?

There is a Server Health ADD-IN that is very much like Alex's Remote Notification you may like as well.

The Office Maven has a free add-in call Add-ins Tab Extender. It contains a list of your installed add-ins and includes version number and a tab that list available add-ins to download. There's a WS2012Essentials and WHS2011 version.

Hey Diehard,

Thanks for the link. I had completely forgotten about The Office Maven and their products. Very refreshing to see the ADD-INS TAB EXTENDER which reminds me very much of the ADD-IN Central for WHSv1 which I miss very much.

I have wanted to set up either Plex or MB3 on my server but have held off right now since I am not 100% comfortable that my WS2012E server is stable.

I am tempted to install MB3 but I would rather know it works well with WS2012E before installing it or any other application to my server. I just have a fear of breaking the damn thing and currently my server is running rock solid so why tempt breaking it.

If you're referring to MediaBrowser3, I have been running it on my WS2012E server for the past two months and so far has been flawless and its pretty stable. I recently did a new install to place the OS on a SSD for faster response but other than that its working great with no issues.

For hard disk health monitoring you can install Home Server SMART 2013 available @ http://www.dojonorthsoftware.net. This will monitor the health of your disks and send notifications via email and on mobile devices (iOS, Android and Windows) if unhealthy disk conditions are detected.
