Hi All,
My apologies if this has been asked before - I couldn't seem to find it.

I just installed Ess2012 on my 487 and would like the drive lights to work. I saw a couple of posts where certain Intel Drivers were mentioned, but no specifics.

Could someone pls. list the necessary drivers to get the lights going? For the benefit of everyone, perhaps we could list the drivers for all MSS models?

Thx in advance!
Rgds - M.

Hi amos.max welcome to the forums!

The LED's are controlled by software and drivers writing by HP for Windows Home Server v1. There was some work to get the LED's working for WHS2011 which you can take a look at: http://www.mediasmartserver.net/2011/06 ... rver-2011/

You need the appropriate Intel Rapid Storage Technology driver, Visual C++ 2010 and the add-in and I've got it installed and working. Caveat is that it will not work with Storage Spaces which "hide" the physical drives from the add-in; this is not a problem for me since I'm staying away from SS for now.
