I sent you a PM as well.

Screen Capture attached.

Johnrr6,
Yes, same as me. Notice how the link is broken into 2 lines? That is how I know the link is broke.
I am using Win7 and Outlook 2007. I have given up on fixing it, just go to forums and dig for the reply I want to look at.

Ok, I did some more digging, thanks for the corroboration johnrr6, I just figured Pombrio has issues. Just kidding!

I found this which sounds like the same thing, and was likely a bug introduced by PHPBB 3.0.5 which I would have installed in early June. I've made a change that I'll be interested to see if it works, please let me know if you continue to see this issue or if it is resolved.

Alex, if you already have made the change, then did not work. I read the other link... possible.. I still received a broken message for this reply. All the broken messages do contain emotes tho! I did get one reply that worked fine. It was short and contained no emotes. WHY JUST ME and Johnrr6 tho?
It might have to do with how I have my Outlook settings. I clicked a few boxes that have to do with how I "upgrade" a plain text message to HTML. I wil unclick "remove the line break" and unclick the two boxes in HTML. Fingers crossed!
NOTE! I notice that all of the forum replies are limited in WIDTH which breaks all the links into two pieces, thus making the link not work. How the hell do I change THAT? heh.

Well, I don't have anything else to try now. An update to phpbb is in the works, we'll see if that resolves it.

Well, the e-mail links work fine now! I swear there is secret voodoo hidden deep inside every computer and piece of test equipment I have ever worked on. They can, without fail, come up with a "WTF just happened?" moment. Does make life more interesting...

I updated the forum software a few weeks ago, perhaps that made a change. Glad to hear they are working!
