Hi, my ISP blocks ports 80 and 443. I've worked around this by forwarding two other ports (lets say 4080 and 4443) through my router and reconfiguring IIS on the MediaSmart Server to use these new ports.

This is where the problem comes in. Some links on the MediaSmart Remote Access site correctly recognize this and insert the port number into the urls, while other links do not.

I'd love to see the pages modified so that if the default ports of 80 and 443 have been changed, then ALL links are modified to include the port numbers in the URLs. For example, use https://domain.com:4440/remote/filesRoot.aspx to login to your server instead of https://domain.com/remote/filesRoot.aspx which won't work if you are using non-standard ports.

And while we're at it, why not allow user to set their desired http and https ports right from the WHS Console?

I'm sure MediaSmart servers will become more and more popular in the future and this will surely eliminate a lot of frustration and support calls from people who are trying to get around their ISP's port blocking procedures.

Thanks...
