I had a request for a picture of my server, so here it is:

File comment: I have 4 BluRay Drives and 1 DVD drive in my office on the 1st floor hooked up to my server in the basement via a 15' USB cable.

Nice and thanks for sharing! Have fun with WHS 2011 and good luck moving to the RTM version! Like you, I am over the loss of DE and moving forward. Can certainly understand if someone else comes to a different conclusion or is still on the fence. I got inspired and posted my server and pics in another thread. If yours is "The Beast" then I should be calling mine "The Mouse." But that's ok... it just shows the range and depth of uses for this stuff at home.
