| Post subject: | 403 error on RWA |
I believe I have somehow incorrectly setup remote web access, or the IIS role. When I go to my home server's web address, I get a page with a 403 error, even when I go to the address on the machine itself. How can I start troubleshooting this? Thanks. |

Are you talking inside your lan or using external internet connection with port forwarding. If it is a external connection then this site is a good resource. https://portforward.com/ |

I don't know if microsoft is still doing the accounts to access these systems from outside the network? I did have mine setup back in the day and when I did it it took a couple of days to start working. But I thought I had read MS wasn't supporting it anymore??? I turned my off (1) security (2) wasn't really worth it with the speeds my service had. Good Luck and enjoy.. |
