On two of the computer's on my network with WHS 2011, the Launchpad, won't LAUNCH.

They did work once, a long time ago. But even after uninstalling it, and having to rebuild the server a couple of time for a failed backup drive.

And yet, on the two of five computers where it hadn't worked in awhile (one of which failed as well) WHS 2011 Launchpad, just won't work.

So... any ideas? Short of formatting both of those drives and starting over!

If your serious about just formatting the drives in the clients why not just perform a Client Recovery back to the time when the client was working well with the server.

What I suspect is that the .Net Framework 4.x is having an issue on those clients but the weird thing is why more then 1? Of course you could always opt to remove .Net Framework 4.x but its a bit of a process and then remove the client software and then reinstall the client software to see if that works for you.

I think just performing a Client Recovery is the easier thing to do.
