I'm trying to remove a couple of computers that no longer exist on my network and I'm getting "Cannot remove the computer from the server - The removal process could not finish because of an unexpected error. To remove this computer, run this task again."

And of course I run the task again and get the same error. I manually archived my existing backup database and created a new backup database thinking that might be the source of the issue - and even with a completely new and empty backup database I still get the error. Ack! And for grins I tried deleting other machines - all gave the same error.

Anyone know of a manual process to purge old/unneeded computers from the console? I have a new machine I'd like to add, but I'm at my 10 machine limit. Thanks!

Wow - guess I am the only one with this. Well, several hard drives are failing (fans weren't working right for a while after I installed WHS2011 - d'oh!) so I think I'm just going to rebuild with a fresh build. That will certainly clear things out

I am having the same issue, I have tried everything to fix this without a resolution, can anyone help or supply a fix that works? Attached is the error, no matter which machine I try to remove I get the error. The 4 machines that are highlighted in yellow are old machines no longer in use or on my network. Love HomeServer 2011 but hate that I cannot resolve this issue.
