I have a new WHS server with 2011, I keep getting the server was restarted alert. It happen at lest 3 time a day and more when I am setting up the server, I do not know if this is normal or not. It slow down thing as I set up this server. Thanks Norm

No this is not normal. You may want to review the Servers Logs to see why your server actually rebooted. Also look to see if the server is being updated and the updates are causing the server to reboot and possibly the update itself might not be installing correctly so WHS attempts to download and reinstall again.

Also review any changes you may have recently done to the server, hardware or software installations done just prior to the issue occuring.

I think you are right about the updates. I have not had that issue in the last few days. I have another one that is busting my chops rite now that I will put a different post on it. Thanks again Jerry
