Hi all,

I am new to this forum sorry if the topic is not in correct section. I intending to build WHS PC, but all of my computers in my home are connected to ADSL Modem WAG320N (Providing Internet) , I have tried copying file from PC I connected through Ethernet cable directly to the modem to another computer connected through Wireless N in which I have got 10 Megabyte copying speed. Is this speed capable of streaming HD content?

I can't run out Ethernet all over the house, I thought that by using Powerline Eathernet kit, one connected to the Modem and the other one to a another router or switch in a room that has 3 computers and to connect the WHS to that router or switch. My goal to get gigabit Ethernet connection between the 3 computers at least and the WHS and Internet connection as well.

Thank you

Your best bet is to try streaming your content from one PC to another to see if your network performance is sufficient. You can do this via Homegroup or sharing in Windows Media Player. If the wireless is too slow, you can try the powerline adapters which should be fast enough.
