Hi, I am a newbie here so please go easy on me. I didn't have enough caffiene and ended up ordering Home Server 2011 in french. In my excitement to try to get my home server running, I opened the pastic and popped the disk in. Once I started seeing the french prompts I clued in (ahhh... that's what fr means on amazon.ca)... like I said not enough caffiene... The issue is of course that I don't speak french. My question is, is this OS like some of the older OS's where you can change the language during or after installation? I never installed it, once I saw the prompts I cancelled the install.

Unfortunately you can't convert it to english. You have to buy the specific english version. After checking on Amazon website, it's really obvious that it is a french language product as detailed in the product description:
"Product Description
Amazon.ca Product Description
Windows Home Server 2011 64Bit French 1pk DSP OEI CD/DVD 10 Clt"

Lucky you, you also learned that not only english people lives in Canada!! Since you obviously live in Canada and am looking to buy WHS 2011 fr (french!) may be we can work out something... Let me know via pm,

Claude
