Hi folks,
I'm having a spot of bother with my HP box. It occasionally drops off the network, usually when a large transfer operation is going on. Unplugging the network cable from it and putting it back in brings the machine back again. It's connected to a gigabit switch running 7K MTU, other machines on the network are having no problems.
I'm bored of randomly fiddling with the advanced driver options, anyone out there able to assist me?
Best wishes,
Rob

My ethernet went South on my Mediasmart about a year ago. It seemed to be like yours in that it had a few intermediary failures before it failed for good. I installed whs on a box that I build and the Mediasmart server has been in a box since.
