| Post subject: | WHSv1 and Stablebit Drivepool |
I have read a lot about Stablebit and a lot of people seem to like it. I have one issue with WHSv1 and I was wondering is anyone knew is this would be an answer. I am, of course, using DE for my storage, however, when backing things up, I am limited to only 1 hard drive for the backup. If I were to purchase drivepool, would I be able to create a pool to backup to more than 1 drive? |

In case anyone happens to be following this, the answer is no, you cannot do this because WHS v1 and 2011 use VSS in their backups, which Drivepool does not allow. I suppose that I could always go to another backup solution, however that is one of the main advantages of WHS... |
