I have an employee who wants a server but like most doesn't want to spend a ton of money to get one. We all have a wallet limitations. His needs are not all that great so I was thinking of taking all my extra MSS Parts to build him a server using a motherboard that can't control the LED's which is not a big deal because you lose that function any way.

I have a bunch of BE2300's and an ADD3800+ available to me and I believe the BIOS has already been modified. Anyway what I want to check on is what drivers will I need to hunt down to get an EX470 fully function with WHS2011? I already know about the Marvel Driver for the eSATA Port so that's easy enough.

While I do not expect this thing to be a speedy solution I would like to know also performance wise how it works out for those running WHS2011 on their EX470 and most important which processor is installed in the server.

I don't recall encountering any driver issues when I originally tested it.

Thanks. Note sure yet if I will go that route but I may do it just to test it out to see how well it works. Who know maybe if I do it I could send it off to one of my sisters if its not a viable solution for my employee.
