I have looked everywhere and can't find an answer.

I already have a paid DYNDNS Domain Name. Can I use this on my EX495 server? I am new to the server business but It appears you have to use one of the HP selected DNS providers. I don't see any way to just enter the domain name.

If there is a way, I also would like to know.
Because I have 3 domain names now registered with godaddy.

You can't configure your own provider via the Console, but you could install the DynDNS agent on your server and use your domain that way.

Where and how do I install the DSYNDNS agent?

Just place the software somewhere on the server or copy it to a USB Flash Drive and connect that to the server. Then make an Remote Desktop Connection to the server and once on the desktop install the software as you would on any computer.

OK one last question. Is a DNS Agent the same as a DNS Updater?

Probably, different companies call it different things. Whatever piece of software that your Dynamic DNS provider gives you to keep your ip updated with their DNS. http://www.mediasmartserver.net/wiki/in ... the_server
