I am not really happy with WHS 2011 and I would really like to use WMC with my XBOX 360. I was wondering if anyone had ever installed just Windows Server on the ex470? I would assume it would be pretty straight forward but I don't know.

So far I have added 4GB of RAM to my ex470. I have a new (well old but newer) more powerful processor for it that I haven't installed yet because I am little nervous about flashing the bios. I also bought the Gen3 cable so I can hook a monitor/keyboard to it.

All I really want to do is stream movies and music to my XBOX. I do use the server for backup but I also have other backups implemented so I don't really care about necessarily doing RAID on it. If I lose a drive, I have everything backed up elsewhere and I keep a very concise list of everything on it so I can replace everything. Any suggestions or advice?
