I have been running FlexRAID on my EX495 with WHS v1 for about a month now. I use it along with folder duplication on my shares. Although duplication is great for some things, it is so wasteful of hard drive space, especially for large video shares, recorded tv, etc. After installing FlexRAID I was able to remove 5 2TB drives from my system. (no use running them empty). I use the snapshot raid, but realtime live raid is coming soon, as is drive pooling which WHS 2011 lacks.

I believe FlexRAID will help me to upgrade my EX495 to WHS 2011 in the near future.
