Has anyone tried installing the Apple iCloud Control Panel on their homeservers? I am going to be upgrading my EX-495 to WHS 2011 and would really like to know if the control panel work on it. It does not install on WHS v1.

I just tried and it doesn't even start. It shows no errors or nothing. Maybe someone else can try it see if they get the same result.

I'm really hoping this could be made to work. It would be great to back up photos on my iPhones and iPad right to Windows Homeserver using iCloud and Photostream.

Got it to install following those instructions on WHS v1. Had to install Bonjour first, but, the one feature I wanted, Photostream, is greyed out. Not sure why. Will install 2011 this week and will test with it.

Great video bit i still dont know why it wont start to instal on WHS 11.

Not sure about your setup. I had my friend try it, he has WHS 2011, and it installed and he was even able to setup Photostream. So I'm just waiting for the software to arrive to upgrade.

I dont realy use WHS 2011 but i have it installed on my Mac Pro using VMWare.

I have it installed on WHS2011 for photostream and it works flawless
