This might apply to the guys who are also running a DAS over eSATA on the EX49x/X5xx's but has anyone got a Drobo S working fine with Windows Home Server 2011? I'm find of all the drives I have downloaded from SIL that none of them work well enough to retain the DAS on the controller long enough.

I get an initial detection whilst the whole server locks up for about a minute. Then it disconnects. Sometimes on rebooting the MSS I get either a failed shutdown or a failed complete boot (running with a debug board so only guessing by what I see in Event Viewer).

Thanks,
Al

Im at the end of the rope with this myself. I have tried everything. Every 64-bit driver that Silcon offers, even some hacking of my own, and there is simply no way to get the Drobo S working on the EX495 eSATA in WHS 2011.

If someone has figured it out, i'll be forever greatful!
