A new version of Remote Notification is available, this release includes a small bug fix plus several new server statistics for the Daily Reports. You can read more and download the new version here:

I got it this morning. Thanks. Upon installation I got a message that the installation failed, but also indicated I needed to restart the server to complete the installation. After restart, 1.5.0.7 was installed and working fine.

Hmm I've not seen that before, I'd be interested to see your Additions.log file if you can email it to me.

It's one of the WHS logs, should be easy to find if you sort by Modified to see most recently modified and send me the last couple.

Thanks for the log files, I see what happened but do not know why it happened. Fortunately it seems to be a benign issue, and a reboot should resolve it as you experienced.

Hi Alex, I just downloaded the latest version today. All is working well. Great features in the new version. My only problem I am having is with Twitter support. I authorized the account properly. However, I get the following erro when I "Send Test Message":

Error: Unexpected character encountered while parsing value: <. Line 1, position1.

Any suggestions? Thanks!

tim

Hi Tim, I've not seen that error before, can you please send me the RemoteNotificationConsole*.log and RemoteNotificationService*.log files? They are on the server in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Windows Home Server\logs and my email is yakuza AT mediasmartserver DOT net.
