So, Avast on the WHS side is a separate chargeable product? Do you know the cost?

How did you rate Avast vs McAfee (I'm not a big fan of McAfee over the years).

Funny enough I just checked the site and don't see a WHS version of Avast, I don't know if they have canceled? I wasn't too fond of McAfee in my EX470, I just felt at times it made my system very sluggish

Hmmm, I went and checked. See http://www.avast.com/windows-home-server

$70 for 3 years.

So, Avast didn't seem to be noticeable when running on WHS?

But, I'm running an EX495...maybe it won't be noticeable anyway?

Ah, seems they have it classified as "Other Products and Solutions". I had no issues with Avast on my EX470 or my current DIY. I still may go back to Avast if ClamAV is a letdown

For me WHSClamAV is excellent choice
server can work with full speed but when I need install some software it's no problem i can check it before install
