If you are trying to update your "old" EX47x, you couldn't because the installer is refusing your current HP software version. As you said, Diehard, version 2.1 is requiered.

Maybe somebody else has the skills to port this new apps to the "old" server. After unpacking this update, it seems to me that all needed files are included in this package, not only updated files.

How did you open the file?

Wonder if they use a Inf? file like my sony laptop where the model number is listed. you change the model number in this file and it will let you install drivers and suck for other models with out throwing the error that the installer is not for your current model number.

These updates install all the new features including temp guages and light controls correct? What people are really wanting is basically the add-in for twonky maybe the converter. I like the newer looking UI myself. has anyone tried to just transfer over the add-ins?

You can extract this kind of installers (Windows Installer) by using the following command line:

msiexec /a <name>.msi TARGETDIR=<path> /qb
