Available now

To add insult to us UK HP EX47* users

1. It only works on the EX48*. Which we cant buy :(
2. Its downloadable from the UK itunes store. They could have made it unavailable to UK users

Its now on my iPhone. Sitting there looking at me. Taunting me. Wanting something to do

Ern

I've installed the app (v1.0) from the iTunes AppStore.

It had a simple user interface to connect to your ex485/ex487:
Code:
 server:
 username:
 password:

However, since the HP software update (IIRC, v2.5?) still has not yet been released, the connection to your home server does not get established.

I'll be eagerly awaiting the HP software update, in order to try this out...

I've now got my hands-on impressions of the iStream software posted on the blog, thanks to my good friend Senor Guantes helping me out with his iPhone. 8)

Quick question. I have the old EX470 so can't use istream but was just curious. With this app, would it be conceivable to stream a movie to an iphone that is connected to a TV set through Apple's composite cables? That would be nice in a hotel while travelling for instance. Thanks,

Interesting idea, I've not tried it but it seems like it should be possible. Note that the videos are 320x240 so relatively low-resolution.

I found out how the mss provides the content to the iPhone app:

https://XXX.homeserver.com/MobileStream ... s/feedS100

It's a kinda weird way... but it works lol
