I just had a HP April 2008 update, anyone else get this? Am I early or late to this party???

ok - this gets more strange. The server was acting sluggish so I rebooted it. Once back up I checked for HP updates again and this time it started to download package updates (43% so far)..... wonder what it is?

FAILED!

It got most of the way through and then bought up a screen saying it could not continue as 'Home Server Consol was in use'. I could exit, ignore or retry. Could not get it to work with retry, hit ignore at which point it bombed about not finding a file. Now when I go back in and tell it to search for updates it says the HP servers cannot be contacted :(

Rebooting now to try again....

Am trying after a reboot using MSTSC and running the WHS consol on the desktop...

OK - I got as far as the 'home server consol' in use again except this time, as I am MSTSC to the machine itself and running the consol on its desktop I could close the consol leaving just the installer open - now when I hit retry it works....

Hope this helps some of you...

Note the 64bit WHS connector is still tied to the WHS PP1 release... :cry:

There is also a client update as well, which updates the Media Aggregator for iTunes.

seems ok. damned if i can work out the pvconnect stuff, not much to confing, and not easy to tell what its doing.

Can you post screen shots of the PVConnect screens? Im at work and wont be able to update for quite sometime. Does it work thought?

Works fine through the xbox, was expecting it to work through Media Player or at least give me some kind of way of doing something on my PC. Documentation on the install is pretty light to say the least.

EDIT... click on help when your on the PV Connect tab!
