It's got mixed reviews but is supported by the Blue Iris software, so I'm picking one up to play with setting up on my home server using Jason's guide.

I've been playing around with the one I got a few weeks ago and like it for what it is. It doesn't do well in low light, and does require a wired ethernet connection, but it's been fun to play with around the house and I have it set up to monitor via my Windows Phone. There is a firmware update that just came out a couple of months ago that is working well for me. This is definitely a good deal to get an introduction to surveillance and monitoring.
