Hi, I just installed the Vail Preview Refresh on my EX490. The Mass Storage controller was not detected and no driver is installed. Does anyone know which driver I have to install and if there even is one? Thanks for your help! Alex |

I did the same as you. The answer is in Alex's review on the EX490. http://www.mediasmartserver.net/2009/09 ... and-ex495/ The servers feature a Silicon Image SiL3531 chipset that has support for Port Multipliers with FIS-based switching. You need to get the 64 bit driver. |

Trying to install Vail preview refresh on my 490 and failing to boot; can anyone provide a link to the x64 drivers for the disk controller and/or a step by step on creating a slipstreamed install to include the drivers on a usb stick? thanks in advance John |
