I recently decided to resume testing Vail because of the multilanguage functions. The people I work with speak primarily Chinese and Spanish. I currently use my primary server to share files but it seems some have difficulty with the options with everything being in English. When I first tested Vail I noticed that when logging on remote there was an option to chose a different Language and Chinese was one of the languages one could select.

Anyway before I go off and write a book....All I am curious about is how accurate is the various languages supported by Vail?

I know there are localized builds, and that locale support is improved in Server 2008 vs Server 2003, however I'm not sure if Vail is truly "multi-lingual". I suspect you'll need to do some research and experimenting, and Diehard may have some insight with FR/EN given he's Canadian.

There is a language selection option when you remote into Vail at the logon screen. I do not have Remote Access Active here at this moment otherwise I would take a picture of it. Its a long story but once we get out internet issues resolved at work I will bring in my miniserver and set it next to an EX470 I have there now and set both up for Remote Access and test the Chinese and Spanish Part out. For this I will let my staff beat the hell out of it when they are home requesting they play with it.
