I'm familiar with WHS from having an EX490 and running the Vail Public Beta inside of a VM. I have built a new server running Server 2008 R2, however I realize this platform is not what I need. So I have a few questions for those running Vail / WHS 2011?
1. Are the drives actually formatted as NTFS now?If this is the case then in theory I should be able to unplug my non-system drives when the final version is released.
2. If I install a codec pack will that enable more formats to be streamed?3. How is the stability of the RC? I know everyone says not to use this on a production system but server 2008 is just not cutting it. It took me a good deal of time to setup certain features, plus I particularly miss the add-in support.
I used Lights-Out, alot with WHS V1. I currently have to manually power on or shutdown my server. With this being the case, I obviously forget.
