I'm preparing to install whs 2011 on my X310. Would this be the same procedure as other mediasmart via a usb. I have an install CD already prepared. Thanks

I've not personally tried it to but to my knowledge, yes. It meets the minimum requirements for hardware.

I have completed the installation to WHS 2011 on the X310. Question, How can I add an extended drive to the WHS 2011 on the X310? I must admit I have never done this. Thanks.

What do you mean by "extended drive"?

Can you explain how you loaded WHS 2011 on your X310? You said you used a USB drive, were you able to do an install without a monitor on the X310? Did you do this over the network via remote pc? Or did you have to purchase the debug board mentioned elsewhere on this site so you could get VGA out?

thanks
