Hi,

I have a E495 server and after I restart our router and after that I can´t access/reach the server.

The three lights at the bottom is blue and the lights to the right blinks, all blue.

But the light for the hard drive is black (no red or blue light)

I have tried to reinstall the connections program but it can´t find the server.

Does anyone have an ide how to fix it?

Well if you restarted your router, it probably assigned a new ip to the server and pc.
Try rebooting the server and the pc you are attempting to connect from.

For me when I have a outage or reboot the router, I reboot all the devices on my lan if there is a issue.
Also I reserve ip's in the router for the server and nas so they never change.

Hi,

I have testerad the computer and the server, but it dident help.

I have internet access from the coomputer.

I think it is something with the server because the light for the hard drive are black, not red or blue.

Also the leds at the bottom only two are lit the health is off.
hard to say at this point but it could be one of several items.
dead bios battery, bad drive or faulty psu.
I would try booting with no drives to see if the health at least lights up red.
Also check to see if all three fans are running.

One trick is to boot with the os drive only then slide in the pool drives one at a time.
the health should show red because the drives are missing.
then turn off if after inserting a drive and it is shorted out.
It could show that a drive motor is shorted out and pulling down the power supply
which means you have a bad drive.
It takes more current to start a drive than when it is already spinning.

But I would bet on a faulty psu and you should replace the coin battery while you have it open.
and clean it out with a air blaster can. I think the battery is a cr2032

They are long in the tooth and the battery and psu are rated for x number of hours.

It appears also from the image that you are outside of the USA so if you replace the psu you may need to take extra caution when ordering a psu , that it is compatible with your house voltage.
Because I am not sure on the specs on the replacement psu.
