I purchased an HP EX495 server without any drives (or CD-ROM recovery discs).

I was wondering if I can restore it using the EX48x 3.0 upgrade discs that I still have from my previous HP EX485 server.

Should be no problem, right?

No, the OS licensing and drivers for the hardware are different.
