I recently had a system drive failure, so I installed a dedicated system drive Crucial SSD. Everything was fine for a while but now the health light keeps blinking constantly and the hard drive lights do not come on. I disconnect all drive except system, ran chkdsk repair and its still blinking. How can I trouble shoot this? Could it be an issue with the light service? The SSD is not that old and Crucial Storage Executive says the drive is fine. Looking below its blinking because the server backup disk is offline? I never set up a backup and the light use to be solid not blinking.

To workaround issues with disk LED blinking with DrivePool, DriveBender, RAID arrays and disks without shares,
change the "DiskStatus.Healthy" value to "Aqua".

I did a little more digging and discover JMicro Raid Manger broke the light service. I have a Mobius 5 bay raid and installed the incorrect version. After uninstalling it, everything is working correctly, phew!

Great work, I myself had tried 2011 and got the lights working (as well as they could) but just couldn't get past the new connector.
So went back to whs v1 and am still running it, but I have to say I would love to have 4 or 6 tb drives in my system.
If Microsoft would have made 2011 just like whs v1 they would have had a hit for sure.
Oh well we can dream.

Again, great work on figuring out what happened, it could help someone else that is having problems.
Good Luck and enjoy.
