I just installed Debian onto a HDD and threw it in the easyStore to see if it would boot. It seems to, but the NIC fails to become enabled.

I saw in a thread on installing Ubuntu on the H340 that you had to boot into WHS first to "enable" the NIC. I've done this (and just did it again), and the NIC becomes enabled and I get a link. Still, with Debian, I do not get a link.

Anyone know of something to add to the startup scripts to enable the NIC?

Thanks...
