Hello Everyone,

I have had my Ace H340 for a while now. Due to my lack of p/c knowledge it took me quite some time and effort to get my unit up and running so that most of the features are working.

For a while I have been getting messages that the hard drive with the o/s was failing. So I went down to my computer shop and asked them if they could clone the o/s drive, which they did. I re installed the drive and powered up the WHS. I am just able to get onto the main page of the server and it freezes up and gives a message that connection to the server is lost. I was able to make a couple of scree shots before I lost the connection. which I will try and attach. I am able to access the data on the H340. but cant get into the server O/S. On the unit itself the Hard Drive light is Red as is the (I) icon light

Thanks

Markus

If you review the information in the following Link it will explain why your seeing what your seeing and how to correct it:

Another forum member recently post this about his cloning experience. While I can not confirm it actually works it may be worth a try:

Regardless of which link you follow you will need the original system drive. If you do not have that system drive then you will need to pull out the server disks and perform a Server Recovery.
