Hi all,

We (3 friends) where looking for upgrading our NAS station (DS207+ and DS209II+) to a new NAS station (qnap) and then
i saw WHS and this forum :)

So we are now looking into building our own WHS server, but we need some help with our choise of CPU

1. How are we going to use the WHS server ?
A. We are using it for our complete media library (Music / Movies and Photo's) streaming to our Popcorn C200

2. We are using SABNZBD that wil unrar and par(if needed) and we all got a 120Mbps Internet line so can we use a Intel Atom Dual Core cpu or do we need a i3 CPU for this kind of apps, because we want to use our full 120mps line and some speed for unrar and par.

What do you guys recommend for the CPU (mostly important is sabnzbd speed (downloading and unrarring) and streaming to our Popcorn C200) ?

I hope you guys can give some advice before we are buying all the products :)

Thank you.

That should make a fine WHS Server.
I'm not familiar with your other process.
Ya may want to hit up DBone in the Media stream forum I think he may use PopCorn or at least have some experience with it.
