I already have an HP LX195 MSS. If I undertake a DIY server build, will I have to purchase the WHS o.s.? If yes, which version and where can I purchase it? (I see a WHS OEM product @ Newegg). Or can I use the discs that came with my LX195?
TIA,
John M

Yes, you will need to purchase another copy of WHS for your DIY. The WHS OEM from Newegg or Amazon is what you want.

Thanks cavediver. I have other DIY server questions, but I will post separately.

I bought my copy from Amazon, I can confirm it's the correct one for a DIY build.

Yup, and there should be a handy link in the Amazon ad right below this. :D (you may have to scroll over in the ad to see it)
