Dell Zino HD

I guess that since Donavan West has just about given up on his HSH blog, that this might me a project I might take on this fall.

My guess price starts at $399+. I would think this would make more sense as an HTPC then a WHS. I would expect being Dell it will be highly customizable so you can probably ratchet up the price to $10k  . Can't wait to see what the specs are for the Dell. Lenovo is trying to release a somewhat similar device but I went to their site to build and zero customization (expect if you wanted to pay more for an extended warranty of course). Also, weak IGP... http://dbone1026.blogspot.com/2009/08/a ... tream.html

I agree. Looks like it'd make a better HTPC than a WHS. Looks barely bigger than a Wii.

Personally I wouldn't get that form factor until USB 3.0 is sorted out. Once that's done it will give us Home Sever enthusiasts a LOT to work with.

Imagine a device that size with 8 USB 3.0 ports.

looks a lot like my Mac Mini, except it's black and of course the mini is very white.
Good job Dell copying Apples form factor :)
I wonder if it is as quiet as the Mac Mini, which makes virtually no noise.
