I currently have a EX485 with 4 WD Caviar Black 2TB drives. The server is full and I'm not able to use duplication. I just lost drive 1 and I am having to send it to Drive Saver to hopefully recover some important Data. As I am about to spend alot of money to recover data that was not backed up, I am wanting to avoid this problem in the Future. As I have been reading I have found that WHS is discontinued. I have stumbled across several articles on building a Windows 8 Home Server. I think I'm about ready 2 take the leap. Any pointers or suggestions on hardware miniumus would be great. I'm lost. I would like to have use of this machine as a home computer as well. |
