Is it possible to get the LX195 to turn on a PC running Vista every morning at 5am and then start the backup process? I bought the LX195 as I thought I can do this but I am starting to think this may not be possible. My PC running Vista is a Gateway MT6728.

Please let me know. Thanks.

The backups occur during the maintenance window, which defaults to 12AM - 6AM. You could change this if you wanted a more close timeframe, but there is no way to schedule exactly when a backup will occur. Your PC should wake up from sleep to do the backup.

If you are asking if the server can turn on a machine that is powered off, the answer is no. If the machine is in sleep or hibernate state, it will "wake up" the machine to perform the backup.
