The user manual says;
"You can add external USB disk drives to any of the HP MediaSmart Server’s four USB
ports."
"There are two parts to adding external drives: connect the drive to a USB port and
then initialize the drive so it becomes part of the total server storage."
And finally it says;
"If you use a USB disk drive, it is recommended that you use a drive that conforms to
USB 2.0 or later.
1. Plug in the USB cable into one of the USB ports on the server.
2. To plug in and power up your external USB drive, see the documentation that
came with your USB disk drive."
The USB hard drives that I've seen for sale all mention system compatability i.e. XP, Vista, 2000 etc. So far I see nothing that indicates WHS.
So now my question is what to buy?
