I recently lost login ability, again after 6 months use. HP Tech support helped trouble shoot then recommend I install a replacement 500GB drive and install software then rebuild file structure. FYI: I did a 'File Recovery analysis on the old 500GB disk and did find bad blocks on the SYS volume. I have 2 1 TB Seagate Barracuda 7200 RPM drives in slots 1 and 2. The drives were also checked via USB to SATA external link. I could see the backups on the first drive and movies and pictures on the second drive. These were re-installed in the exact same location as they were pulled.

I followed HP's instructions to install the software on the new 500 GB drive and run server recovery. I went to bed while this went on. In the morning. Drives 0 and 2 are blue and drive one is purple. It appears the rebuild has not happened properly. However, the backup was executed on drive 2 since drive one was not available, so I know some files are gone. The HP people have not been much help. I have tried to use 'File Recovery on disk 2, where the data was. I can not see anything.

Any help or suggestions in recovering what I can from the data drive, drive 2, are greatly appreciated.
