I'm approaching hull breach on my EX475 ( 4x Seagate 7200.11 Barracuda 1tb ) . Its working fine at the moment but I think its about time for an upgrade .
Has anyone ever used/upgraded from these ? To other Seagates ? Or anything else ?

Any help appreciated ,

M :encore:

Any 2TB SATA drive will be fine, just be aware of Advanced Format drives.

I'm personally using a Western Digital Red 2Tb drive in my EX495 and it's working well. A search on this site will turn up many discussions.

Sure, upgrading the data drives is easier than the system drive.

Are you able to use that WD Red without the jumper?

I have been recycling my older drives in my MSS units.

Yes, without the jumper.
