My gigabit switch is telling me that my ex485 is running at 100 Mbps rather than gigabit. I am routing through a D-Link DIR-655 to a D-Link DGS-2205 Gigabit Switch. I have tried several different ports to no avail. My MV2020 and other connected hardware read gigabit. Does anyone have any input on this?

I presume the color of the LEDs is what is showing the connection speed? Have you looked at hte network properties on the server to see what it thinks it's connected to?

Yes, I based it on the LED color. I backstepped to my ethernet cables. Even though I have my modems broadband feed run through it's ups, I figured why not run the servers ethernet through it's ups. Anyway, I ran the ethernet straight from the switch to the server and presto, gigabit! Weird, huh! Thanks for the input anyway.

Completely believeable. Gigabit needs full gigabit-grade components all of the way through. One little dip (like the UPS) and you drop the speed for the whole link.
