Hi, I sold my mediasmart ex495. I forgot to copy the hp mss client.dmg to my mac so that i can use it to uninstall the software that was originally installed. I can't find anywhere to download the hp mss client.dmg. It was the version 3 of the file. Is there a way to get that file or another way to remove the installation from my mac?

Thank you,

All you should need to do is delete the preference pane from System Preferences by right clicking it and selecting remove. Then use Finder to navigate to your <root>\Library\Preferences\ folder and delete the com.hp.mss.client.plist file, which contains the definition of your Time Machine disk. Finally, navigate to your user Library (~\Library\Preferences) and delete com.hp.mss.uninstaller.plist and com.hp.mss.recoveryassistant.plist.
