Hi all

Can someone advise if there is some better way to do what im doing

I am wanting to watch DVD from my HP Pavilion PC that is sent wiressly with a Nseries PCI card to a Airport Extreme that is connected via ethernet to a Apple TV for streaming DVD

Is there anything else i need to do before it works smoothly??

The PC is 7 metres away from the TV with 95% clear line of sight??

So to clarify you have a DVD in the DVD drive of your PC that you want to stream to your AppleTV, or you have a ripped DVD on your PC that you want to stream to your AppleTV? I don't believe you can stream from a DVD drive to AppleTV. If it is a ripped DVD on your PC it needs to be reencoded into Apples format (mp4) for the AppleTV to play the movie.

I believe Damian is correct. I don't believe you can stream straight from DVD. You can dump it into iTunes in the HP and either sync it or stream it from there. If you find a way to stream a live DVD please let us know.
