Hi all,

For the past couple weeks I've been busy working on an update to the site, and tonight those changes go live. The goal was to make the site more visually appealing, make it easier for me to maintain, better organize the great content we have, and yet keep a familiar layout. I worked with a graphic designer (thank you Tedi!) to develop a logo for the site, implemented and styled a new theme for the blog, and slightly tweaked the forums to match. The Wiki will follow...

I hope you all like the changes. Please let me know if you see any bugs or issues with the site.

Thanks,
Alex

I like the new look. Feels cleaner and less "cluttered". Not that the old look and feel was an issue. I love this site and appreciate all the efforts you make to maintain the great information and forums here. I have received more help and learned more from this site and it's members, as well as the WGS forums, than I'll ever get from HP or MS. Thanks again for the efforts.

GENERALLY speaking I like it. But some of those fonts and their assocuiated "white space" could be scaled down a bit (NEWS, ADD-INS, ABOUT, etc.). Also a bit less inter-line white space on the three lines below that.

Job well done and its much easier on my eyes too. I do not have the best eyesite so it often takes me longer to find things then others. I always enjoy comming here its a great site and I am sure many others have said so in past. Thanks for the site and all the effort you put into it.

Like everyone else, I agree it looks good.

It does seem a whole lot brighter though, causing me to squint when I look at it. 8)

I'm sure that I will grow use to it with time.

Love the new mobile site layout. One issue is I can't get to the forums from that site now on my iPhone. Anyway you could put a link in the drop down for forums? I next to forum spotlight. Oh yeah yakuza you still run the best site hands down.

Awww, man!! No more cool iPhone webpage icon.

That's new today, just experimenting with an improved mobile site. Sorry it blew up, I'll do some more investigation this weekend and hopefully get things sorted. :)

Finally got this done, there's now a Forums link on the main dropdown menu. 8)
