Known issues:
- Fixed CAPTCHA broken for user registrations (temporarily turned off until I get the issue figured)
- Fixed New user registrations broken
- Fixed Some old attachments not working
- Fixed Email notifications not working
- ?

Update: 3/10/2009 11:20AM MST
At this point all known issues with the move to the new server have been resolved. Please let me know if you see anything else.

Update: 3/2/2009 3:30pm PST

I've got the site moved to the new host, I don't expect any more extended outages. It may take a little while (up to a couple days) for the DNS info to propagate across to all the internet. There may also be periodic short outages or hiccups (should be isolated to just a moment or two) as I get the system tweaked for performance and stability.

Thanks for your patience through this, as hard as it's been on you all it's been way worse for me. :(

Please let me know if you see anything not working as expected.

---------------------

I'm sorry about the outages of the past 36 hours or so, unfortunately they may not be over yet. This outage is due to an upgrade that was supposed to get us better performance and improved reliability, but due to some other issues impacting my hosting provider it has not gone as planned. :(

Please hang tight, I'm doing the best I can to keep the site up however it's not been easy.

Thanks,
Alex

Thanks everybody, I'm sitting in the MVP summit discussing things with the WHS team, and trying to get my sites up at the same time. :(

My sentiments exactly, Bob. I have been a bit lost without this resource available to me. The outage has made me realize how much I depend on this site. THANK YOU ALEX!!!

Do you know if the site outages/upgrade is affecting the email notifications, it appears I stopped getting notifications for threads I am subscribed to.

As a truly novice newbie who has been able to get a new MediaSmart Server up and running without any issues (except for cr@p caused by security software (Newman!!!), I want to thank Alex and the rest of the gang who regularly post here for their hard work and wonderful advice. This board is a wonderful resource and a great community. Thanks.

Thanks for the words, Scott. :mss:

The site seems faster to me, anybody else notice a change in performance?

I've still got to get the old attachments working, hopefully have this wrapped by the end of the weekend.
