Here is the link for the patch:

EX47x => http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/soft ... 48165#N908

EX48x => http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/soft ... 55978#N605

EX49x => http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/soft ... 69717#N588

What your looking for is in the UPDATE listing. Good Luck and hope your resolve you issue very soon. I can tell you that once Twonky is properly troubleshooted you should not experience the high CPU load. So after downloading and installing the pact please be sure to review Alex's Guide on how to troubleshoot issues with Twonky.

That update was already installed on the server. So am I supposed to remove each of the problem files?
It is still doing the same thing even after the patch? The patch had been installed since day one.

I read everything but think I am missing something. I will read again.
I ran that program and I keep finding different files after I remove them.

Yes, you must remove every problem file until Twonky no longer has issues. Alternatively you can turn off Twonky and use the built-in Windows Media Connect for streaming in the home. Note that you'll lose Remote streaming if you do this.

Sweet! Nice Piece of software.

Sorry,
I guess I am just a little negative right now.
Thank you all for your time and input helping me on this!!!

Happy 4th! I will be back after I remove all the files. This could take weeks. I have over 800 home videos and not all of them have problems.

[quote="Comp1962"]OK lets shut Twonky down for the time being. Shutting it down in the console is only a temporary shut down solution as when your server boots back up it will just restart again. So lets shut down the Twonky service and prevent it from loading until your ready to troubleshoot Twonky using the information from the link below:

..................................

Very useful post
My cpu was running 100% & turning off Twonky fixed it.
Whe I have more energy I will do the troubleshooting exercise :D

Only one funny thing when I run Task Manager the window is very high on my screen so I do not see the tabs :(

I also cannot move it down because I do not reach the top of the window :(
I tried going into control panel to try changing the display resolution but that is locked out.

Any ideas appreciated.

Marton

Try clicking on Task Manager to make it the Active Window, then ALT F to bring up the File Menu and then the left cursor arrow then M (for Move) and now the Down Arrow cursor key.
